I have written, devised and played music for The Oresteia (dir. Katie Mitchell) and Chekhov’s Ivanov (dir. Katie Mitchell) at the National Theatre and have toured with Shared Experience (dir. Nancy Meckler). I have also written and performed music for solo koto to accompany silent film at the Barbican (Mizoguchi’s Water Magician).
More recently I have performed a story telling version of Tokaido Road with Tomoko Komura at the Wisewords Festival in Canterbury
